Today is our first class, we meet our lecturers, Ms. Anis and Mr. Faizal. The class was very fun, Ms. Anis helps us to understand what is Illustration and Visual Narrative. We talked about our favorite cartoon characters and our favorite animations. Ms Anis also taught us that Illustration and Visual Narrative follows a set of principles, which are :
- Shapes
- Color
- Emphasis & Contrast
- Harmony
Golden Ratio is perceived as a perfect beauty because it creates visual balance, harmony and also increases the appeal of the composition.

Rule of Thirds is applied by aligning a subject with the guide lines and their intersection points, placing the horizon on the top or bottom line, or allowing linear features in the image to flow from section to section.
